Curtiss-Wright Controls pioneered the development of the world's first flight data recording systems during the 1950's and today produces the most versatile, most compact cockpit and voice recorders for rotary wing and small to medium aircraft. The Curtiss-Wright Controls maintenance recorders are the intelligent and accurate diagnostic heart of the commercial aircraft, allowing improved operational performance. In June 2010, we acquired Specialist Electronic Services Ltd, a UK based company. SES designs and manufactures rugged, security encrypted data recorders, processors, display media and software for aerospace and defense applications. The SES S3DR product family is a low cost, high performance, rugged solution to the processing and data recording needs of environmentally challenging embedded systems, such as those found in aerospace, defence, naval, vehicle and safety-related or high performance industrial applications.
