At Curtiss-Wright Controls Integrated Sensing (CWCIS), we offer a wide range of rotary position sensors and transducers including angle measurements from 10º to 360º.

We use technologies that are packaged in rugged housings, with mountings that give the user a wide range of flexible installation options. Our technologies include:

RVDTs and RVITs for AEROSPACE APPLICATIONS

Our acknowledged leadership in variable differential transformer technology provides the rotary equivalent of the robust LVDT linear transducer - the RVDT - and it's close associate, the RVIT. We are able to deliver cost competitive components, of proven quality and unmatched performance.

The inherent design of the Rotary Variable Differential Transformer (RVDT) is rugged.  We have continuously developed this technology by selecting advanced materials, employing non-contact designs and highly skilled manufacturing methods to improve the envelope of performance to size and cost.

  • Aerospace qualification to MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461
  • High reliability from non-contacting technology
  • High integrity devices for low cost of ownership

Our resolver capability is as proven as our RVDT and RVIT technology, with a wide array of applications in challenging environments.

All of our resolvers are custom designed to suit our customers demanding applications.
