Designed to the most stringent aerospace requirements, the Curtiss-Wright Controls Integrated Sensing (CWCIS) Utility Management System (UMS) will collect, package and transmit local discrete, analog and digital data for various aircraft systems.
The UMS design has BIT functions to assist fault isolation and fault reporting. It can be designed to communicate with various digital communication buses, such as EIA/TIA-232, -422, -485, ARINC-429, USB 2.0, AFDX/ARINC-664, MIL-STD-1553, CANbus or Ethernet.
